What are the Most Profitable Business Opportunities in NZ?
What’s the most common question people ask when looking for a business?
(PS. Look at the online income proof… I practice what I’ve written below)
Which businesses for sale are the most profitable to start… is it an existing business already showing a profit, or a low cost start-up business opportunity… like an online business, or starting something you are passionate about?
So how do you decide which business suits your ‘style’ and ‘profit’ expectations?
Here’s some food for thought regarding the best type of businesses to get involved with in my humble opinion. The top 5 things to consider when buying a business:
1) Question: Does the business make ‘one off’ sales, or will your hard efforts in the beginning keep paying for themselves long term?
- Answer: You should start one that keeps paying you over and over, even if it means less money coming in on the original sale? Why? Because a business with repeat income has a much higher asset value (you can sell it for alot more than a ‘one off’ type sales business).
2) Question: Is it home based, or does it require leasing premises etc?
- Answer: No way… imagine starting up a business and having to commit to a physical premises, leases and securing it against your house… all without a customer guarantee? No thanks! You ideally would have a business that is home based… even if you need to put staff in one of the bedrooms by way of an office. Better still, no staff!
3 ) Question: Are food businesses more profitable than product sales?
- Answer: This one is hard to answer because if the profit from one product sale is $50,000… then that’s alot of sandwiches to sell to match the profit margin! In saying that, you would need to invest more money up front to buy the product that sells for a $50k profit! The best type of business to start is all profit (not including your time).
4) Question: So what is the most profitable business for sale in NZ?
- Answer: You are looking at it right now! Owning a website that makes you money from home is the best feeling you will experience. If you only made the average wage online, but with no overheads, no staff, no sitting in traffic, no need to wake up to an alarm… and all the time in the world to spend with your family, would that improve you life at all?
